Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a treatment used to treat infertility. It involves placing washed and concentrated sperm directly into the uterus using a thin, flexible catheter around the time of ovulation. The procedure is usually performed in conjunction with ovulation induction to increase the chances of pregnancy. IUI can be used to treat infertility caused by issues such as ejaculatory dysfunction, mild male infertility, and unexplained infertility. It is also used for people trying to conceive using donor sperm.
